He was counsel on nationally significant litigation, including the Beverly Hills Supper Club fire in Cincinnati which involved 164 deaths and approximately 900 injury claims, and was appointed by the State of Ohio as special counsel representing the Governor and the National Guard in the Kent State case where the Governor of Ohio was charged with negligently ordering the National Guard to Kent State University resulting in the death of four students. Mr. Brown also served on the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline and the Columbus Bar Association's Board of Governors, as well as The Board of Governors and Vice President of the Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel.
