Paige Leigh Ellerman is a partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy, Business Restructuring and Creditor Rights Practice Group, and she is Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification. Ms. Ellerman’s practice is primarily focused on business restructurings, workouts and bankruptcies. She represents business debtors and creditors, including official and ad hoc creditors committees, in complex chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, buyers and sellers in distressed assets acquisitions, including Section 363 sales, and parties involved in all types of bankruptcy litigation.
Ms. Ellerman received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and her law degree from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law. While in law school, she served as the editor in chief of the Northern Kentucky Law Review, was a member of the Moot Court Board, and graduated Order of the Curia. Ms. Ellerman is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the State of Indiana, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and before the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
Ms. Ellerman has been involved in numerous community and professional organizations. She currently serves on the Executive Board and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cincinnati Bar Association, as Vice President of the John W. Peck Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, on the Grants Committee of the Cincinnati Bar Foundation, on the Board of Trustees of the Tri-State Association of Corporate Renewal, as a member of the Board of Trustees for Madcap, Inc., and as a national officer for Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity for Women, Inc. She is also a member of the St. Elizabeth Medical Center Foundation where she serves on The Gift of Health committee and is the past chair of its Benefactor Drive. Ms. Ellerman is a past-president of the Board of Governors of the Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law Alumni Association, a graduate of the 2005 Leadership Northern Kentucky program sponsored by the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, and a past Chair of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Section. She was the recipient of the 2008 Outstanding Recent Graduate Award from the Chase Alumni Association and has been selected as an Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star each year since 2005.
