Jerry's practice is concentrated in complex family law matters. Jerry has a broad business and real estate background and for many years has represented developers and real estate investors in all aspects of real estate acquisition, development, financing and leasing. Additionally, he has represented entrepreneurs in the variety of issues which arise with closely held family businesses.
Jerry, along with partners Guy Hild and Wijdan Jreisat, has also used those experiences in developing a unique and much needed speciality of handling, negotiating and litigating financially complex family law cases.
He has lectured extensively on all aspects of the family law field including the tax aspects of marital split ups and has successfully litigated several innovative and complex issues including the Ohio decision in Murray v. Murray which was the forerunner in addressing valuable employee stock options in a domestic setting. This case was extensively reviewed in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Lawyers Weekly. He was also interviewed for and quoted in a major article in The New Yorker magazine on the subject of prenuptial agreements.
Jerry has been an Associate Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law teaching a weekly senior seminar on Advanced Family Law.
