Mr. Menninger is a Partner in the Cincinnati law firm of Wood & Lamping. In addition to his practice in the areas of business litigation, bankruptcy and real estate, Hank has been regularly involved in the quality of the legal profession in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Northern Kentucky University; and a member of the faculty of the Ohio CLE Institute. He lectures frequently on legal topics relating to bankruptcy and real estate practice. He is a member of the Panel of Bankruptcy Trustees for the southern District of Ohio; and has served as Chairman of the Real Estate Law Committee of the Cincinnati Bar Association, and as amember of the Planning Committee of the Midwest Regional Bankruptcy Conference. He is also an approved Real Estate Title Insurance Agent for the Ohio Bar Title Insurance Company.
Legal Services
Bankruptcy: Services include debtor, creditor, and committee representation in Chapter 7, 11 and 12 proceedings.
Real Estate: Services include representation of buyers, seller and lenders in residential and commercial real estate transactions; drafting of documents, including contracts, deeds, mortgage notes and mortgages; land installment contracts; closing; residential and commercial lease transactions.
Probate: Services include full probate proceedings, relief from administration, administration of living and testamentary trusts and other non-probate assets.
Litigation: Services include representation of Plaintiffs and Defendants in both business and personal litigation matters, including automobile accident and personal injury cases.
Business: Formation and representation of various types of business entities, including corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, limited partnerships and proprietorships; buy-sell agreements; covenants not to compete.
Special Education Law: Representation of parents of handicapped students in enforcement of child's rights under I.D.E.A. and the Rehabilitation Act of 1974.
Medicaid Planning: Counseling of patients and their families to prepare for the eventuality of long-term medical care, including maximization of available assets.
Wills and Estate Planning: Preparation of Wills, Living Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney for Health Care, Prenuptial Agreements and other Estate Planning documents.
